  • Cards are now pre-rendered PNGs instead of real-time CSS - faster loading and smoother scrolling. Pack opening now has a "charging" phase where the pack shakes and glows while card images preload, with colors matching each era's pack wrapper. Also improved collection performance: images only load when scrolling stops, and added a toggle to disable card effects for slower devices.

  • Major update: Improving NASA's raw data. NASA's image data is occasionally malformed or inaccurate. Before launch, I pruned the image selection from 200,000 to ~19,000. This update extended the NASA data structure with a new tagging system and removed another ~5,000 that were found to be inaccurate, redundant, or non-space content - to focus on quality space photography. Some cards also changed rarity based on the new internal tagging system. Users compensated with stardust for any removed cards. Card pool now 12,414 curated NASA images.

  • Fixed a sync issue that could cause cards or packs to disappear when opening packs on multiple devices.

  • Fixed sync for large collections (1000+ cards). Also fixed pack count not updating correctly when switching devices mid-session.

  • Fixed sync across devices - your collection now stays in sync when switching between phone, tablet, and computer. Cards also display larger on mobile during pack opening.

  • Rebalanced pack odds so Commons aren't tougher to complete than everything else.

  • Fixed duplicate cards not awarding stardust correctly. Also fixed sync issues that could cause stardust loss.

  • Improved mobile and tablet experience across the app.

  • Launched Cards From Space with thousands of NASA images as collectible cards, user accounts, cloud sync, quiz feature, and donations.
